Development rationale: PS and phosphatidic acid (PA) have been investigated together in lecithin-derived blends. A formulation screen can compare PS-only and PS+PA prototypes for phospholipid profile, oxidation, dispersibility, capsule fill and storage stability; confirm the PS source and PA specification before using the published blend as a benchmark.
Evidence scope: A small randomized study evaluated a particular soy-lecithin PS+PA blend. Its findings cannot isolate PS's contribution and do not establish equivalence for a different source, 50%/70% grade, ratio, or finished product.
Pilot checks: Retain individual-ingredient, blend and carrier controls; check uniformity and post-process assays before packaged samples, documenting study formulations separately from new candidates.
